Relating our lives in the bible is easy for some. But there are still things that people cannot comprehend or simply understand about the life of Jesus. Yes, because we never lived his life. We could never understand how he really felt or how God did feel when he gave up his son, Jesus for us.
All of us in the world, even us christians are sinners. Not one of us can boast that he did not sin. But when we sin, we ask for forgiveness from God. So when we confess everything to him, we make him happy. We are easily forgiven. Our sins were washed away when Jesus died on the cross. Instead of condemnation, he gave us salvation. Not all of us though are saved from condemnation. People who do not surrender their lives to God still lives surrounded by sin.
Our way through the father is Jesus himself. Punishment from sin is death. Not one of us can avoid death. But if we live through Christ, when we cling on to him as our strenght, we shall be saved. We all die, no exceptions. But after death, he promised eternal life with our true father in heaven. God never wanted us to live far from his love. He wanted to embrace us and be close to him.
Even if you are born a Christian, even if you go to church every Sunday and worship him, even if you join all religious gatherings, does not mean that you are a Christian. It is your faith in God, your own personal relationship to him, your obedience to him, your trust in him that makes you a christian. In your Journey through life, what ever path you take, when you involve God in your decisions, when you hang on to him, you will feel him. You will know that he’s there. God will provide for he is our greatest provider! he gives us everything we need. Even better!
As christians, we rely on the BIBLE for wisdom, for strenght, for answers to our problems, for encouragement and for inspiration. But do we live up to what we read in the Bible? It doesn’t mean that when we pity others or say that you read the bible every day, we live up to what the Bible says. Bear in mind everything you learn from the Bible and use them for every experiences that you encounter. Center God to everything you do. He’s always there, watching you. And he will be proud of you if you trust him in everthing he does in your life.
When we start to walk with God, little by little, we appreciate everything in this world. Little by little, we start trusting in him. We are aware that he’s working up something in our life. We get to know him more and more.
Whenever we have troubles or wants and needs, never hesitate to call for him. You might say that he doesn’t listen to your prayers, but never lose faith because maybe it’s just not the right time for you to have it or it is not for you. But eventually, you will know that he has prepared a much greater thing for you. Because he always wants the best for you. You might experience heavy burdens in your life, but remember that he never gave you a problem that you cannot handle. You go through all those because he knows that you can surpass it. God makes you grow stronger for with every challenge you face, every challenge you step on to, strenghtens you more and more. It molds you and makes you as a whole.
Felt like giving up your faith? Don’t! God still has special plans for you. Serve him with all your heart and soul and a reward is coming your way. Use your every gift to Glorify him and you will be rewarded. 🙂 Eternal life with our creator and heavenly father.
Ephesians 6:10-20 (Contemporary English Version)
The Fight against Evil
10Finally, let the mighty strength of the Lord make you strong. 11Put on all the armor that God gives, so you can defend yourself against the devil’s tricks. 12We are not fighting against humans. We are fighting against forces and authorities and against rulers of darkness and powers in the spiritual world. 13So put on all the armor that God gives. Then when that evil day [a] comes, you will be able to defend yourself. And when the battle is over, you will still be standing firm. 14Be ready! Let the truth be like a belt around your waist, and let God’s justice protect you like armor. 15Your desire to tell the good news about peace should be like shoes on your feet. 16Let your faith be like a shield, and you will be able to stop all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17Let God’s saving power be like a helmet, and for a sword use God’s message that comes from the Spirit.
18Never stop praying, especially for others. Always pray by the power of the Spirit. Stay alert and keep praying for God’s people. 19Pray that I will be given the message to speak and that I may fearlessly explain the mystery about the good news. 20I was sent to do this work, and that’s the reason I am in jail. So pray that I will be brave and will speak as I should.
